Shannon Adams:
Shannon Adams began her career with the Law Office of Douglas J. Carter in May 2008 as an administrative specialist. Shannon has since advanced to her current position of Office Manager. She works directly with Mr. Carter in preparing cases for hearing. She also works directly with clients to assure quality service.

Shannon grew up in Erwin, Tennessee and attended the East Tennessee State University. She left the area in 1994 to join the United States Army and served as an administrative specialist in Germany. Shannon returned to East Tennessee in 2004 with her husband Jonathan and their two wonderful daughters, Mason and Baylee.
When Shannon is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Betty Adams:
Betty Adams began her career with the Law Office of Douglas J. Carter in July 2009 and currently serves as administrative specialist working directly with clients, attorneys, and staff to ensure quality service.
Betty grew up in East Tennessee, but moved to Kentucky in 2003 where she worked in a criminal defense firm in downtown Elizabethtown. She returned to her home in 2009 to begin a family. She and Jeremiah have two wonderful step-sons, Caleb and Gage, and a beautiful daughter, Reese.

Betty has worked in the area of law for nine years, and attended the National Paralegal Institute in 2008.
Some of Betty's favorite activities are spending time with her family, watching her step-son's play football and baseball, cooking and photography.
